After the first shift doctor told me that the pain in the side of my abdomen could be related to an enlarged spleen or pancreatitis, I waited 3 hours to have the scans done. By that time, Dr. Jordanhazy had come on shift, walked into my room said "your scans are clear, you can go home and take ibuprofen for the pain." My response was I could not take ibuprofen and he did not know why. This tells me he hadn't bothered to take 5 seconds to look at my chart. I was visibly in pain, having difficulty breathing and moving. I basically had to beg to be given something to try and relieve the pain. He was willing to let me leave the hospital in no better condition than I had entered. By the time I left the hospital 10 minutes later I was practically in a full on panic attack due to not being able to breath in the car. If I ever have to return, I will make sure he is not the doctor on shift before consenting to care.

My 20 year old daughter saw him in the ER - she had a gastrointestinal illness. Dr. Jordanhazy was very professional and had a great bedside manner. He was very personable with a perfect sense of humor in regards to her illness.
