Ryan MacPhee PMHNP-BC, provides telehealth as well as in-person psychiatric services in Portland, Oregon. However, his expertise extends beyond prescribing medications — he is a guide and partner on a holistic journey toward better mental health. Collaboratively, We will work to affirm your strengths, reduce your stress, and move toward lasting change with strategies tailored to your unique needs. 

In addition to psychiatric evaluation and medication management, Ryan MacPhee PMHNP-BC, also incorporates brief psychotherapy, coaching, and psychoeducation into his sessions. HE works with patients to incorporate wellness strategies such as regular exercise, balanced nutrition, meaningful social engagement, and mindfulness practices.  His approach is patient centered and emphasizes collaboration as well as collaborating with your therapist, primary care doctor, and other supports when needed. This ensures your treatment is holistic, personalized, and focused on helping you …achieve your goals.  Please note that I do not prescribe long-term benzodiazepines.

I am a graduate of UC Berkeley and UC San Francisco, where I completed my training as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. My areas of expertise include treating depression, ADHD, anxiety, insomnia, and substance use. I also specialize in men’s mental health, sexual health, and working with the LGBTQ+ community.
