Dr. Ryan William Mcintyre, MD

A year ago, Ryan McIntyre was my hero. Very hands on, caring, engaged. He brought me to sobriety and was helping me taper off of benzos. But, recently he has changed, and not in a good way. He sent me to ER recently as I was symptomatic for stroke. Never saw, heard from him again. I wanted to follow up on my situation. He is now absent. Office staff uncommunicative, as if tho'concealing something. Support unavailable. Assistant Donna unwilling to assist me. Ryan, 35, had personal "issues", roommate problems, no money for rent deposit, on the cusp of homelessness, he told me. Also, confessed (tmi) he overmedicated self, suffered seizure at office, collapsed, hurt, cut head, face. Last few appointments, his eyes were often glazed over, incoherent conversation. McIntyre was becoming increasingly troubled, confused, erratic, now strangely, quick to prescribe and unable or unwilling to speak or articulate thoughts clearly or intelligibly. Today, I was informed he could not see me… anymore (he used to see me weekly, at his insistence). I fear for his well-being, and that of his patients, present and future, and feel obligated to make this public.

This office is the worst office I have ever dealt with. The receptionist do not have enough time slots available and pressure their patients to take times that are not convenient to them. The person on the phone even went to the extremity to tell me that she was doing me a favor as if I didn't pay her salary. This office is a joke. I called the supervisor after being hung up and the supervisor Letty was defending her employee and interrupting me while talking to her. DO NOT GO TO THIS OFFICE.
