Dr. Ryan D Mills, DO

Very unprofessional. Barely spent time with me and it was my initial appt. He appeared to think he could use his smiling as a persuasive way to move things along and smiled inappropriately. He said he did not believe I needed to see an endocrinologist even though I have seen one for 20 years before him and have had periodic issues. (His nurse did not even finish taking down my meds and I had one more to give her. Later, during a phone call, she stated she always asks her patients if they have any other meds and questions and that she always takes care of her patients.) I was so taken aback by his rushed and dismissive nature that I forgot to tell him I needed a refill on my meds...which I had to call the next day about. He tried to rush me out of his office after about 10-12 minutes by extending his hands to the hallway and saying he would show me to the checkout desk. I asked a simple question that he should have known the answer to, if he knew what food was good for brain… fog. He simply smiled inappropriately and stated, "No" and continued extending his hand while I gathered my belongings. When I got to the hall, he was standing beside the door where I could not see him. Very strange and unprofessional behavior. Did not allow for any questions. I suspect he books multiple patients in short increments since I was in the waiting room 1/2 hour early and watched multiple patients coming after me and leaving before me.

I have been a patient of Dr. Mills for 3 years and could not ask for a more attentive endocrinologist. I am a very brittle type 1 diabetic with an insulin pump and a Sensor to wear. He has alwys explained anything that I may not understand, ordered prescriptions, medical supplies, and given me orders for changes in my basal rates when I have medical procedures such as cataract removal or colonoscopy/ endoscopy procedures done. A doctor who is intelligent and reasonable; he qualifies as both!

I was very pleased with Dr Mills. He took the time to explain my options for diabetes treatment and explained how the new medicine he was putting me on worked and went as far to explain the different cost of the medicines and how to get help paying for it if need be.

Not impressed like other. Tried to discuss options with him. He would not discuss further. He will give you his opinion but not listen to yours. Would not talk to me after appointment. Tried to take over my other care from my PCP.

I recently took my family member who has dementia to see Dr. Mills and he was very attentive to our needs. He answered all questions thoroughly and with empathy. We feel very comfortable with Dr. Mills and would refer our friends and family his way.

I was a new patient with Dr Mills recently and I was very impressed with his professionalism and attention to my medical needs. I have been a diabetic for years and feel comfortable that he will be helping me manage my disease in the future.

I am a new patient of Dr. Mills and am so impressed by his character! So friendly and pleasant in his demeanor. He took the time to answer my questions and was very thorough in his explanations. I would most definitely recommend Dr. Mills to my friends and look forward to my next visit with him!

Horrible customer service. Office phone is always busy. Staff doesn't return calls when you actually get through. Dr. Mills doesn't make eye contact when he speaks to you. He gets defensive if you question him. Office Manager, Lisa, doesn't return calls. Had to wait 45 minutes in his waiting room for my schedule appt. Awful.
