Dr Miyamoto has been my doctor for several years and I am so pleased with his care. The staff are wonderful and I highly recommend him.

I was scared of having this surgery but dr was thorough and answered all my questions. Follow-up visits were also helpful. I would go to him again.

I was referred to Dr Miyamoto by my primary ortho, as he doesn't do arthroscopic hip surgeries. The first time I saw Dr Miyamoto, he was professional and courteous. He did my surgery in August and wrote a detailed report about what he did during the surgery. The 5 stars are for him, NOT the office staff. Among other issues, the last appointment I had I waited for almost an hour and a half. Not cool.

Your website is impressive; to a point of wonder of authenticity. Age of doctor, 39 years old, experience so limited, I would be adding to your experience during your surgery!!l

Dr. Miyamoto was very professional and prepared for my situation when I arrived. He had looked at all my xrays and MRI andexplained what my choices were. He told me what to expect for recovery and answered all my questions very thoroughly in the office and by email. He is very positive and encouraging throughout the process.

Dr. Miami to is beyond what I expected! Many visits to him and he can nail anything and be 100% correct! He's got such a great personality, and wonderful bedside manners! I highly recommend him to anybody because he's such a great caring guy!!

I saw Dr. Miyamoto for a knee injury from a skiing accident. I had knee pain for weeks and was told by another doctor that I needed a CT Scan, etc. Before I decided to go the costly route I decided to get another opinion from Dr. Miyamoto. I needed to be seen quickly because I had an upcoming business trip. He was able to fit me in in a very short time frame and ended up giving me a cortisone shot. I barely felt the shot as it was administered and afterward my knee pain was gone. It's been two months and still no pain. I would definitely go see Dr. Miyamoto again. Great experience!

I slipped on the ice and landed square on my knee. I didnâ??t know it at the time, but I ended up with an ACL avulsion fracture (where my ligament and a piece of my bone separated from the rest of the bone in my knee). I was in extreme pain and literally could not walk. I called Dr. Miyamotoâ??s office and his surgical scheduler, Renee, managed to somehow fit me into see the doctor the next day. Dr. Miyamoto explained everything to me and recommended arthroscopic ACL reconstruction to repair my left knee. Renee was able to schedule my surgery for the following week. The surgery was done outpatient at their Bethesda facility (which is a top-notch center) and I was home that same night. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Miyamoto and his staff; they were professional, kind, considerate, and helpful from start to finish. I highly recommend Dr. Miyamoto!

I went to Dr. Miyamoto for hip pain that Iâ??d been having for years. I love running, but suddenly found myself in pain with little activity at all. Even standing for long periods of time became harder and harder to do. It was an extremely frustrating experience because I have always been really active, and running has always been a huge part of my life. I went to several doctors, tried physical therapy, and numerous other options (pain meds, injections) without much success. I was really disheartened and thought that my running days were over, but was eventually referred to Dr. Miyamoto. I cannot even begin to describe how this changed my life. He sent me for an MRI of my hip, which showed that I had a labrum tear, and after discussing all of the various surgical and nonsurgical options with me, I decided to try hip arthroscopy. I thought that this would be an extensive process with a long recovery period, and was really nervous about surgery. Dr. Miyamoto told me exactly what to… expect, and took the time to address all of my questions and concerns in detail. I was home the same day that I had my surgery, only needed crutches for a few weeks, and was back to my usual self within months. Sometimes I forget that I even had the surgery in the first place. I donâ??t normally write reviews for things, but felt like the care and follow up that I got with Dr. Miyamoto was above and beyond anything I ever expected. I am really happy with my experience with him and with the outcome. I would recommend him without hesitation to friends and family in the future.
