He was very helpful until after my TKA was done and I expressed ongoing pain at 3, 4, and 7 months post procedure. My PT identified scar tissue as the main cause at the time but Dr Nixon and his PA Dr Culver both dismissed me saying that most people are really happy with their TKAs at this point (he reiterated it 3 times). He then said he thought it would get better on its own and that was it. My PCP confirmed the scar tissue and arranged treatment, which initially helped. One year post TKA I had to have a revision done by a different surgeon to replace a spacer that was too small, which Dr. Nixon put in, to correct the persistent pain when walking. Meanwhile, all Dr Nixon could say was that he thought it would get better without any intervention. And don't get me started on Forte in general. What a mess that whole group is.
