Dr. Ryan Patrick Oquinn, MD

Dr. O'Quinn is an excellent surgeon whether you have something very serious and complicated or just a minor skin issue. He is compassionate, caring and great to talk to. His office operation is first rate. They take care of everything. I had a small something taken off my shoulder and it could not have gone better. He is my only dermatologist!!

Dr O’Quinn is an exceptionally talented dermatologist as well as a very easy going specialist. As soon as I met him, I was relaxed and lost the fears I had before we spoke. He reassured all of my anxieties about mu medical condition. Everything he said would happen during and after the procedure were true. I highly recommend this specialist.

Entire staff was very professional, friendly & courteous. Dr Ryan explained the procedure(removing skin cancer) & made sure i was comfortable during the procedure. I would definately recommend to others.

Fantastic doctor!

I would highly recommend Dr. O'Quinn. He removed a squamous carcinoma cell in situ. The procedure was painless and everything went well - exactly as had been explained. I found Dr. O'Quinn and his staff to be compassionate, courteous and highly professionally skilled.

I know Dr OQuinn. He ranked top 10% in his medical school class. The certificate showing this honor can be seen in his waiting room. I have been his patient several times and he is interested in me; his diagnosis is prompt and accurate, and he always shows concern that he may cause even the slightest discomfort to me. Also his stitches are so small; he knows how to make any procedure painless, and you look wonderful when the incision heals. His PA has been with him many years. She is knowledgeable, having received Mohs training in California. She assists him during surgery. Though I have never had surgery that required extensive removal of tissue, I found out that he is the only Mohs surgeon in San Antonio that has an ambulatory surgery center in his office. It is always staffed with an anestheologist and a plastic surgeon for patients that have just let a skin problem get so out of control that plastic surgery is required.

Found two basil carcinomas another dermatologist missed. His PA is terrific. Great confidence with this team.

Doctor has the **W O R S T front desk staff**, very rude considering a lot of there patient go in with skin cancer I expected more of a professional experience, the doctor's PA was very friendly (only nice person we met), doctor had bland bed side manners. I DO NOT PLAN TO EVERY GO BACK TO THIS GROUP, NOR WOULD I RECOMMED THEM TO ANYONE.

Overall great experience. Staff was courteous and my procedure went just as Dr. O'Quinn explained it would. I definitely recommend Dr. O'Quinn!
