Fantastic experience with Dr. Petering. I was dealing with shoulder pain and was able to make an appointment quickly and was actually was seen before my appointment time. He is very knowledgeable, professional and personable . Shoulder is a lot better, couldn't have asked for more. Thanks!

I recently had a new patient visit with Dr Petering. I felt like he took his time to understand and talk through my health concerns, and I appreciated that he listened and asked questions rather than trying to get out the door as quickly as possible, which has been my experience with other doctors (not at Skyline). I came away with a positive impression, and I will likely see him again.

Went to see him about tennis elbow. Got a next day appointment, very little wait to see him. Nice office, good staff. Dr. Petering was interested, clearly knowledgeable and caring. He took time to listen, provided options and when I decided on a path forward, we just walked to another room and he administered a treatment. Today is the day after and my elbow is much better. He is working directly with my physical therapist, in fact they had already talked, as I had mentioned my visit to my PT and he was encouraging and helpful with that too. I will follow up in two weeks. I am considering moving to him as my PCP

Came as a new patient. Office was nice and clean. Only waited maybe 10 mins. Dr was pleasant. Asked a lot of questions so that was good. Too early to tell for a complete review. Only saw him once. Will see how it goes.

I'm shocked by all the negative reviews about this doctor. Dr Petering has been my doctor since June of this year. He is very kind and polite. He takes his time and listens REALLY well. He makes me feel in control of my own health but he will always give his professional opinion and recommendation. Yes, sometimes the wait to see him can be long but of course I'm not the only patient, and it's not a long wait time every single time. However, once I get to see him, I don't feel rush, I feel heard and understood. He makes me feel comfortable to ask questions and he asks me questions as well so that we are both on the same page with my health. I've also had no issues with his staff. Just recently I was experiencing some chest pain so I called the office to let them know. I was simply expecting a call back from the doctor. In about an hour, I got a call from his staff saying he wants to see me that same day. Let me also mention that this was on a Friday when I called. I was truly surprised… that he made time for me at the last minute but I was very pleased and as always my appointment time was NOT rushed and I didn't feel like I was being squeezed into his schedule(even though I probably was). Lastly, I'm able to communicate DIRECTLY with him via MyChart, not his staff, but the doctor himself and he responds within a timely manner(sometimes same day, next day or a couple days at most)What else can I possibly ask of him?!?! He is A.O.K in my book and a good doctor for me :-)

He has the experience and knowledge plus seems to be very relaxed while working with me and explaining the issues ,very informative visit,

He has been my primary care physician for over 3 years. He always gives me options and isn’t afraid to tell me the truth I may not want to hear. He’s compassionate and caring; professional and competent. I couldn’t ask for a better doctor to oversee my care.
