WARNING: DO NOT go to this doctor! he is a drug addict and was either drunk or high when he did an injection on me, and then was incoherent when I saw him in the office, and now he is on a “leave of absence”. Shame on Ascension St John for employing him and for the state for licensing this monster. Stay away!

If you're looking for a compassionate doctor, without a huge ego, I would suggest you find another doctor.

I saw Dr. P today for the first time to talk about my chronic pain. His staff was friendly and helpful, (even getting some MRI reports from another provider). The doctor himself is very friendly and knowledgeable about different kinds of pain management, like nerve blocks. He didn't just give me drugs, but he spent all the time I needed explaining and answering all my questions. I felt like I was the only patient there (of course I wasn't). My appointment started right on time and I was only there for about 45 minutes total.

I was so pleased with the way Dr. Pollina treated my problem. He is very knowledgeable & advanced with the new technology, he is also a good listener to his patients, no rush or pressure. I will recommend him to all my friends & family.

Dr Pollina is very respectful of his patients, listens well and if needed changes the course of his medical actions to better suit the patients needs. Highly recommend!

I have seen 4 different pain mgnt Dr. My daughter in law,told me about Dr Pollina . I went in and nevet looked back. He was very kind ,explaned to me what was going on with .. never once looking like your times up. I was truly blessed finally having a Dr that truly understands and cares. Dr. Pollina is a one of a kind physician, because of his great physician skills, bedside manners, and goes over the treatment plan very thoroughly of what to expect. I was referred to him by my surgeon post-operatively, and I felt at ease right away the first time I met him during a consult. He is very own to earth, he is very educated, and well trained too. I am blessed to be under his care. I highly recommend Dr. Pollina to anyone for pain management.

Dr Pollina, has been treating my mother for over a year now and is always very polite. He takes his time with reviewing with us her medications and answering any and all questions we have with out making you feel like your taking up his valuable time. He takes pride in what he does and truly has compassion for his patients. He has the best bed side manner you could as for in a doctor and the same goes for his staff in the St Clair Shores office. They all speak with you like your part of there family.
