I would give zero stars if it were an option! The guy did 3 failed root canals on me. One he left an instrument under the crown in the root canaled area. Another he drilled away too much of the tooth and crown wouldn't stay on. He then took the crown that wouldn't stay on and kept it and said I would have to pay for a new crown out of MY pocket because of his mistakes. I refused and he took my 1,500 crown and left. Not to mention all the times he cut away at my gums to try to make his crown fit and the bleeding wouldn't stop. I DO NOT RECOMMEND HIM AT ALL!

Dr. Porter has essentially ruined my life. Due to my experience, I feel I am obligated to warn the public concerning how Dr. Porter practices dentistry. Dr. Porter extracted all my teeth for full dentures, and placed four (2 upper and 2 lower) mini-implant posts. I was assured that these would be enough to support full upper and lower dentures. Because of the failed treatment I received from Dr. Porter, Iâ??m now left to live the rest of my life with no teeth and only the upper denture that can only be glued into my mouth. I chew with my gums. I can only eat what could be considered baby food The Arizona State Board of Dental Examiners states, and I quote, â??Dr Porter failed to follow protocol for placing mini-implants which requires at least four mini-implants placed in the mandible (lower jaw) and six mini-implants placed in the maxilla (upper jaw). After nearly two years of his treatment I have suffered 14 implant failures in all. There are three cases posted on the… Boards website. Two of these cases are listed under the heading â??Conclusion of Law Section as UNPROFESSIONAL CONDUCTâ??. These claims can be substantiated be going to the Boardâ??s website and looking up Dr. Porter. I wonder how many others have taken the beating, said nothing, and sought out another dentist. Dr. Porter practices at Just for Kids Dentistry in Kingman and Bullhead City, AZ and Kosmic Kids Dentistry in Lake Havasu City, AZ.
