Dr. Ryan Burke Ramagosa, MD

I would love to call this person a good doctor. I can't in good conscious do so. I had a 7:00 a.m. appointment as I needed to be at work at or around 8:00 a.m. I arrived promptly at 7:00 a.m. and was the first to sign in. The doctor called the first patient back at 7:30. It wasn't me. Next patient called at 7:35. It wasn't me. Next patient at 7:38. It wasn't me. I complained. Then they called another patient at 7:40. It wasn't me. I asked for a refund. They then decided now was the time to call me back. The nurse asked standard questions, which I had answered online the night before. She informed me the doc was in surgery, which was a tremendous red flag for me. He scheduled surgery during my time, indicating he does not respect my time. The doctor rushes in, rushes through my diagnosis, and prescribes me medicine. It was quick. I had another issue to discuss with him, but decided to wait until I could see another doctor. This doctor thinks an awful lot of himself.… His staff informed him that I was upset just outside the door (I heard them). He said "that's all I needed to know." He then indicated he is impossible to get an appointment with. He seemed to blame me for the fact that he was over 40 minutes late. Doc, I have a piece of advice for you: You can either be an ultra-capitalist, or a good doctor. You can't be both. This was my first and last visit. I'll fly to Massachusetts before I drive to your office again.

was recommended to go there due to my leukemia Is diagnosis. As you are 600 times more likely to develop skin cancer. I paid my copay and was billed. I called and asked to make payment arrangements as I had lost my job. They said No. As I was waiting on the Leukemia Foundation to help with those payments. The I got a letterforms then stating that Dr. Ramagosa would no longer be my doctor. It was only a five month old bill. I called back and asked if I could get enough to pay in full would he the. Be my doctor and they stated no. I explained I had lost my job and was waiting for help by the Leukemia foundation. No was the final answer. I have never ever been treated like that and I had pre cancer skin cancer cells. They wouldn’t let me do payment arrangement at all he wouldn’t work with the leukemia foundation. Left a huge whole on my nose as they didn’t explain why he zapped it as it looked like a small zit. Now is a whole on my nose. Would not take payments. And bill was… less than $300 and I was jobless I told them A month when I got the first bill that i. Was waiting on leukemia foundation to pay in full Since they wouldn’t take payments. But he sent me a letter stating I was not his patient anymore. They turned over to Collections

Set appointment for laser treatment as suggested by Dr Ramagoza Treatment cancelled as equipment sent from Mobile to Daphne Rescheduled Cancelled as equipment laser settings reset lower & learning curve Dr Ramagoza reviewed file & wants to reschedule (3rd attempted appointment for same issue) but changing to freezing vs laser I requested cost - was told impossible to quote I pointed out that the dr originally suggested laser & I received a quote of $300 (at most) After being put on hold multiple times over a 30 minute telephone wait - I was told the new treatment started at $300 and could be much more but they were unable to quote I requested the manager give me a call and confirm pricing This went on for another few holds Never received call for pricing quote nor apology for two cancellations relative to appointment Very unprofessional Unable to quote for medical procedure

After a very long wait I saw Dr Ramagosa for what was a very brief and rushed exam with mixed and unclear explanations. Afterwards I received a call from the billing and insurance clerk when I questioned certain charges. It was difficult to understand her as if she was gurgling and struggling to catch her breath while eating as I attempted to interpret her comments it sounded as if she was billing my insurance company for procedures that were not performed. Unsure of her intentions I asked for clarification and she hung up which makes me further suspect her intent that hopefully I just misunderstood due to her incoherent remarks but just in case and not to be complicit I intend to report the incident to the BCBS and Healthcare FRAUD with the State Insurance Commissioner.

Dr. Ramagosa is so lovely! Very nice, personable and thorough. I went to him after my husband saw him and liked him. Great Dermatologist! Nice staff, too!

The doctor and the attending staff was excellent. However, I was called to front desk by my "first name" twice by a woman at the front desk. As a black woman I found this to be very offensive and disrespectful. Others' were addressed as Mr/Mrs/Ms. This was my first visit. I did mention this to her but was given no reason for this slight.

Dr. Ramagosa is a good doctor. I missed only one appointment and than stuffs told me I missed tree appointment. All made up so that they don't need to see me. This kind rude unprofessional staffs should not be in a good doctor's office. They just simply canceled my appointment without giving any explanation. Horrible ladies.

Dr. Ramagosa was the only one of at least 9 dermatologists I have been to in 4 states concerning a strange superficial breakout on my arms. He named it, treated it, and it went away. Go to this man, he is the best in his field!

This doctor checks you from head to toe and takes action immediately where needed. He is very thorough.

IF you have an illness DONT GO TO THESE DOCTORS. They Are a money pit. They are also liars and thieves.
