Dr. Ryan Shaffer

I saw Dr Ryan Shafer for a couple of years. I urge anyone who is thinking of seeing Shafer of his partner to beware. Shafer is either too youbg and inexperienced and/or just doesn't give two $&): to listen to his pateints. I got a crown put in and had to return six (yes 6) times in a year to have it adjusted even though it was Shafer's fault. And each time he charged me $100+ for something his office should have incurred The final straw was when i was in there with severe face pain amd i begged for xrays. Shafer will dismiss your rquests altogether and do a few elementary tests consisting of saying "is that hot, now is that cold?" That is an easy way out for a dentist wanting to leave at 5:00 and not tend to his pateint's concerns. Shafer proceeded to rush me out telling me I needed to consult with another specialist. Ok great, who is it and when do i go? Shafer had already left for the day, talking on the phone while leaving; never stopping to tell me what "specialist" to… see and what the next course of action was. I was floored. It would be like a dr telling you you need back surgery but nevee follows through with a referral. To sum it up, Shafer is in too much of a hurry, to lazy, to into himself and not his patients, to really give any real attention to a patient's concerns. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND HEADACHES, SKIP SHAFER!
