Dr. Ryan Sobel, MD

Dr Sobel takes the time he needs with his patients to make sure they fully understand their condition. He was gentle during exams and explains everything he’s doing. It’s hard to find a dr that treats my condition (LS) I’m so glad I have found a good doctor!

I have seen so many uninformed, condescending, and judgmental docs, and so Dr. Sobel was a welcome relief. He understands chronic pain, and included me in my treatment plan. He actually listened and incorporated my feedback into what he prescribed. Sometimes I have felt like docs need me to take care of them when I describe the psychological side of things, but Dr. Sobel is direct and doesn't shy away from intense questions. Cannot recommend him more for vulvodynia, vaginismus, and/or dysperuenia.

Dr Sobel was very helpful, and he takes the time to answer all your questions even the questions that are little embarrassing at times. He is someone that I would recommend to a friend.

Dr. Ryan Sobel is shockingly smug and uninformed even in the face of evicence to the contrary of his opinon. He criticies other doctors and doesn't care a bit about his patients. Stay away.

Dr. Sobel is providing me with the best in leading edge treatment as well as giving me support for and information about my potentially painful disorder. After suffering from a gynecological problem for six months, I finally went to Dr. Sobel. He is a caring, sensitive, thorough doctor who has finally relieved my symptoms and restored me to good health. I highly recommend this wonderful doctor!

I had originally seen Dr. Goldstein for my pain and he charged $1000 more to give me the wrong treatment plan. Dr. Sobel is patient and willing to work with patients over the phone to save them money. He understood that I wanted an answer but was not arogant and told me that we may need to chip away at the problem. He returned my calls within a reasonable amount of time and seems dedicated to helping me fix my problem.
