Dr. Ryan W. Stewart, MD

We discovered Dr Stewart when he covered for my elderly father 's regular doc. We were impressed that he took the time needed, listened carefully and pointed Dad in the right direction. That was 16 years ago. When my Mom needed a different doctor, I strongly recommended that she try Dr Stewart. It's been at least six years and we both have great trust in him. Mom has complicated health conditions, including a few that are rare. Dr Stewart has always shown great respect to her. He seeks out knowledge to help her, and he is patient and kind while explaining. He knows that Mom is highly motivated to do her best to be as healthy as possible. He has referred her to specialists who are also excellent. Diane, his nurse is also caring, and responds to our calls quickly. Did I mention that Dr Stewart has returned calls himself a few times? And now that she's in her mid 90's and just had a pacemaker implanted, his staff knows to allow enough time for a thorough office visit. … We so appreciate, respect, and love Dr Stewart. Very highly recommended.

My elderly mom has been with Dr Stewart for 12 years. She has many issues and he is always so patient and kind to her. He never rushes through her appointment. I also appreciate that he runs on time and follows up. His nurse Diane is also wonderful!

Dr. Stewart has been my dad's doctor for many years now. He was a five star doctor when he started and he just keeps getting better. His office runs like a well oiled machine, superbly maintained, clean and beautiful. His high standards are reflected in his staff and his whole medical practice manage to consistently improve some aspect of the patient experience. They all really listen and answer your questions to help you understand how to live healthy, manage your medications and lifestyle.

I am a patient with a lot of issues. Dr. Stewart has always looked out for my best interest. He is always on time for my scheduled appointments. He makes sure I understand everything regarding my medical issues. He also makes sure his nurse Diane who is amazing herself, gets back to me with all of my test results. He is a amazing and caring Doctor and never rushes my appointments. I very lucky to find such a caring Doctor. Thank you Doctor Stewart for taking great care of me for the last 10 years.

After seeing Dr. Stewart for around five years to treat my diabetes, I was recently told by his nurse that he has "terminated" me from his practice and he doesn't want to see me anymore. This was for no apparent reason and I was not given a reason for this decision. He has also refused to renew my preccription to control my blood sugar and I am left without my medication. I do not recommend this doctor.

So glad I changed doctors. It has been a Night and day difference. The last doctor I couldn't even get in to see face to face when I had some serious health issues. I was either referred out to urgent care or the nurse in their office. I think that is so wrong! Thank you Dr. Stewart for not taking on too many patients that you don't have time to see them. It shows you truly care!

I was fortunate to find Dr. Stewart when I moved to Oceanside in 2002. Concerned that the quality of care in the region might not be what I had received in the more affluent area of Mission Viejo. Not only Dr. Stewart and his staff measure up, but they exeeded the quality of any doctors office I have ever been to. This doctor and his staff truly want to help you get better. They have a passion for what they do.
