Dr. Ryan Patrick Terlecki, MD

I went to Dr Terlecki for very mild incontinence that did not require the use of any pads. He advised me that a sling would cure this problem. Now 4 weeks out from surgery I am now using 5-6 pads a day with heavy leakage. He advised to try a medication, but when I went to get it my insurance would not cover it, and I could not afford 500.00 to try a medication that he said might help. I also have developed urine scald from the constand leakage.

Recently went to Dr Terlecki at Wake Forest for erectile dysfunction. He came in with a female student, which was extremely uncomfortable. During the appointment, not once did he examine me. His primary focus appeared to be teaching the female who was present. I received a bill and decided to complain tho the “patient care” team. I was not surprised when I was told that his care was standard. Shortly after this, I saw another urologist In Greensboro. When I asked if I would be examined his response was “of course”. Perhaps others have received better care, but this was the poorest quality of medical care I have received for a very difficult medical problem. I have nothing positive to say about this visit!

the best office, doctor, staff visit I've ever had. 2hr drive to W/S, appointment on time, nurses proficient, examination explained, surgery explained, recovery/use explained. this procedure has brought back a sense of normality in my life.(x pads a day). 5mos out procedure is good. satisfied totally. happy to have him as my urology dr.

Can't ask for more in a physician! Thorough, kind and actually funny. Breath of fresh air when you have rough problems

Dr. Terlecki is hands down the best physician around. I have never seen a physician that cares about his patients as much as him. Very intelligent physician. Would highly recommend him.

Waited almost an hour for him to show up. And did not apologize for the wait at all when he did show up. Enough said.

Dr. Terlecki was the weekend on-call urologist during my husband's stay at Wake Forest for initial treatment for urologic cancer. He did not inform us that urologic cancer is NOT his specialty, nor did he inform us that he had NOT been asked to speak to us by the urologic cancer SPECIALIST heading up my husband's care and treatment. He interjected himself into this case, told us outright that the treatment plan developed by my husband's doctor was "possible" but not "likely" to be successful and that "happiness is reality minus expectations". His delivery was forceful and allowed for no contradiction. After each pronouncement, he asked, "what other questions do you have" or "what else". I advised the charge nurse and resident on call that Dr. Terlecki is no longer permitted in my husband's room or involvement in his case. If I were the urologic cancer specialist in charge of this or any other case in which Terlecki acted in this manner -- basically throwing my diagnosis and… treatment plan, along with me, my team and my patient's positivity under the bus -- I would be livid. If I could give this person zero stars, or negative stars, I would happily do so.

Arrogant and absolutely no help whatsoever.

I was referred to Dr.Terlecki by my current physician. I have seen several surgeons and had many operations. Dr. Terlecki took time to answer all of my questions. He was through and very kind. I left my appointment very confident that he understood my issue. It has been several weeks since my surgery with Dr. Terlecki and I am very satisfied with his professional manner and work. I have/would definitely recommend him to other patients.
