Dr. Ryan David Whitney, MD

He took care of my mother while she was doing her rehab- always on top of everything, even gave me her personal cellphone number to contact him. Speaks Spanish which is great because my dad only speaks Spanish and he could explain things to him directly. Good human being and again Excellent Doctor, showed concern and treated my mom very well. She was so happy to have a Spanish speaking doctor in the USA!

This doctor had cares for my sister. While I liked him on a personal level, I am learning that mistakes were made. She is no longer with us.

Dr. Whitney must also be at the nursing facility my mother was at for rehabilitation. She was young, compared to other patients around us and should have been discharged. However what he claimed were normal symptoms turned into over two months now of stay at Mt. Sinai. We went there for her to rehabilitate not get worse due to an incompetent physician. I give two stars because he does seem to care when there. But spends no time with patients or families and always texting. Perhaps it is the generation but it was not as if we were in a trauma center. No need for him to text in front of us while smiling. He could have spent the time diagnosing her illness or getting additional tests.

Saw this doctor in an urgent care in the Bronx. Slightly dirty office but he was a young, energetic doctor. Efficient, didn't rush, even followed up with me two days after to see how I was doing. I got labs done and had Pneumonia.

Last night I was ill after surgery and Dr. Whitney goes out of his way to figure out what my problem was, really acted as if I was his only patient. After a bad experience with other surgeons there it was nice to have someone listen to me. My family appreciated it.
