If I could give him zero stars I would. I’ve seen many psychiatrists over time and in a few different states (as I have moved all over throughout my life) and this one takes the cake as the most unhelpful and ingenuine. I have excellent health insurance, that his office accepts. At my second visit to him he strongly recommended that I do genetic testing in order to narrow down what medicines will work best for me. He never once mentioned that it would cost me an ungodly amount of money out of pocket or how much it potentially would cost me at all. I was under the impression that my insurance would cover the majority of it. I saw him two more times after that and then moved onto a different and much better psychiatrist. About 2-3 months later I get sent a bill for over $5000 out of pocket for the cost of the genetic testing. Thank god I was able to dispute this with my insurance and file a grevience to reduce this bill to about $200. This man is a sub par psychiatrist who does not… listen to his patients. He seems to only care about his opinion and his opinion only after speaking with you for 15-20 min.
