Dr. Ryan Yoder, MD

My husband suffers from debilitating migraines. Hes called twice within a month, the last time was 2 weeks ago. Still NOTHING. It makes me furious. My husband is a very mild guy so he is overly nice, to put it mildly.

Dr. Yoder is one of the most caring, detailed, and honest Doctor's that I've had the pleasure to see. He doesn't "sugar coat" or mislead you on anything, which is excellent. He also tries to understand what your needs are, and tailor treatment to the best of his ability that works for you.

Dr. Yoder stopped listening after my first appointment. He kept trying to get up and leave before I was done telling him about my symptoms. It was obvious that he got overwhelmed and had no idea what was going on with me. He wanted to focus on the first symptom or two I listed, instead of taking all of my symptoms to see if they could have one underlying cause, which is what I wanted. He seemed relieved when I told him I had an appointment at the University of Michigan. Some (not all) of his staff got rather rude on the phone. They even called right as I arrived in the parking lot to try to cancel my appointment, one that I had waited 6 weeks for. I won't go into the reasons, but needless to say it was pure incompetence on the part of Dr. Yoder/staff. I won't be back to this office.
