My passion for the field of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Implant Dentistry allows me to deliver better care with greater compassion. My goal is to provide you with the most recent research and technology so you have the option to choose the best treatment available today!
Because I wanted to achieve the highest level of knowledge and skill in the field of dentistry I became an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon. Because I wanted to achieve the highest level of knowledge and skill as a Surgeon I obtained a fellowship and became board certified. Having moved to Toronto, Canada, I began my education at the University of Toronto with a degree in Molecular Genetics. I then completed four years of dental training at the University of Western Ontario in Canada followed by a one year General Practice Residency at the University of Toronto.
Due to my immense passion for surgery I joined the …Residency Training Program in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Brooklyn Hospital Center affiliate of Cornell University and then completed a fellowship in Cosmetic/Maxillofacial Surgery at the Missouri Baptist Medical Center in St. Louis.
I have extensive experience in the diagnosis, management, and treatment of Oral and Maxillofacial conditions. Including TMJ dysfunction, orofaical pathology, dentofacial deformities, infections, dentoalveolar defects, and maxillofacial trauma.
I am well versed in TMJ and Orthognathic procedures, implant therapy and bone grafting, as well as dentoalveolar surgery.
Outside of my professional interests I have a tremendous passion for technology and it's influence on our lives. I have a special interest in macintosh computers, literature, world travel and the world wide web! I reside with my wife in West Hartford, CT which is a phenomenal place to live!
