Dr. Ryhm Radjef, MD

At my first appointment with Dr. Radjef, she presented herself as very knowledgeable about POTs and prescribed me a medication to treat POTs. At the three month follow-up appointment, I reported some, but not all of my symptoms were improved and that I was experiencing such extreme fatigue that I struggled to function in my job. She became extremely dismissive. I asked if there were other medications for POTs I could try, she told me there are NO OTHER medications for POTs--this was it. This is factually incorrect. I also asked about increasing the dose of the medicine. She told me I was on the max dose. This is also factually incorrect. She became defensive and insisted she is "not a POTs expert" (so why is she treating me for it then?), and basically said I could go find a POTs expert. I am writing this review to say to others with POTs symptoms, PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THIS PHYSICIAN FOR TREATMENT. People experiencing chronic illness should not need to jump through these hoops and be… spoken down to. We are already going through so much, and need a physician with compassion. If a physician does not know how to help with a chronic health condition, then they should not be treating it.
