Dr. Rytis Valskys, MD

was referred to Dr. Rytis Valskys by a no fault Medical Office. He did not explain the procedure to me properly, he did not give me the proper name of the procedure (I found out later I was having a MUA), he did not explain that I was going to be put under anesthesia. He also told me his office was around the area of the No fault Medical Office I met him in which is in the Bronx. When I was picked up by the transportation provided by his office I was taken to an office in New Jersey City. The car came 1 hour late, I sat in the office for 2 hours, to find out all the stuff he decided to leave out of the initial consultation. When I confronted him about all the problems I had he told me to keep my voice down so the other patient wouldn't hear me and proceeded to tell me I was lying. The other people who came from the same Medical Office as me agreed with what I saying which made him kind of back down. I decided not to go through with the procedure and as I went back into the waiting room… he follow me trying to make things right. I'm not sure if he normally treats his patients this way, if it's because I was referred from a No Fault Office or if it had something to do with the fact that I am a young black female but this experience was horrible.
