Dr. S A Dean Drooby, MD

Dr. Drooby has been our doctor for several years now. He's a great listener. Concerned for not only your physical health, but also for your emotional/mental health. Always open and honest. Well-informed, knowledgeable. He expects his patients to follow the medical advice and instruction he provides. One of the few physicians who still makes home visits when medically necessary.

At my appt., Dr. Drooby was rude, egotistical, sexist, confrontational, sarcastic and unprofessional. His words were unacceptable and he appeared to be unhinged at times. The worst part was his constant accusations that I'm crazy. Stay far, far away from him if you want your self-esteem and emotional well-being to remain

I saw Dr. Drooby when I first returned to Oklahoma. He concluded my symptoms were all in my head. I actually had fibromyalgia. When I told him I wouldn't be remaining as his patient, he wrote a nasty letter telling me to pay my 20% or he'd refer me to collection. My insurance hadn't even paid yet! I hope he's learned some things in the interim.

Dr. Drooby is everyone’s definition of an amazing professional. Caring. Smart. Experienced. He is the real deal.

Have been seeing Dr Drooby over 20 years. He is one doctor who will occasionally visit a patient at home if needed. He is caring, attentive, patient, current on new medical information & takes TIME necessary for each patient. He’s great with diagnosis & has ALWAYS gotten me the best care, even aside from my annual visit. His staff has been with him for decades & he is THE best!!!

I have been going to Dr. Drooby now for several years and have found he takes his pledge of "preventitive medicine first" very seriously. Drooby told me when I first started going to him, that if he is successful then I will not need to keep going to a cardiologist and/or a psychiatrist for medications. He believes good health should begin with preventive measures that will help the patients get sick less often. Drooby's only downfall is that he does listen so intently and probes into so many details of patients issues that he becomes a magnet for hypochondriacs and people who need an attentive ear for all kinds of phantom ailments. Drooby's strength is diagnosis and he is one of the few doctors I have met who stays very current on latest research concerning nutrients and unwanted side affects of over dosing drug therapies. Highly recommended!
