My nurse practitioner career has been varied with experience in family medicine/primary care, occupational health, college health and women’s health.
I started my career as an LPN at age 19 and became an RN in 1995, after pursuing a part-time career in education simultaneously with a part-time career in nursing, mostly geriatric health, and raising a family. Since becoming a nurse practitioner in 1997, I practiced full-time until I started my current part-time position at North Whitehall Family Practice in November 2018.
I graduated from Yale University School of Nursing with a master’s degree in nursing in the family nurse practitioner track and also have an MA in English from Trinity College, Hartford, CT.
I am an avid walker, hiker and gardener.
