First I met Dr. Shukri during my emergency procedure to remove tumor in my colon. Few month after that he did reversal of the colostomy. I have never had surgery in my 45 years pf my life, it was very stressfull event for me. Dr. Shukri is very calm and tirelessly answering any question and concern I have. He is not those doctor that only there for you telling you their prognosis and whats the next step. He went above and beyond ensuring patient fully understand by giving a bit of education on the circumtances. If you looking for surgeon who you can trust, Dr. shukri is the person to go to.

Dr Shukri took out my gallbladder even before he knew how he was getting paid. He said “I will take out your gallbladder and if your insurance pay they pay” Let me tell you he did a great job, he is such a kind person. I work around docs n this man is one of the nicest doctors I have ever met. I would recommend him to anyone.

I met the doctor when I required emergency surgery. He was skilled & compassionate. He came to see me every day, including Saturday & Sunday

I went to the hospital because my doctor thought I needed my appendix taken out. After they diagnosed me and said that I need my appendix taken out immediately he finally got to me it was really late at night at this time and he was a jerk and didn't give me any comfort saying that it was going to be okay. He came to my room a lot during the day which was really nice. I finally got home and had to go back to him the next day and he said I might have a umbilical hernia and said we had to watch and see. It didn't hurt until 6 months later and then I went to another doctor who did my surgery. He found a lot of scar tissue. Over all it was a horrible experience

Dr. Shukri has a high-degree of surgical skill. He manages to remain calm and focused, in the face of emergencies. After surgery, he telephoned family to discuss patient progress every day. He personally checked on patient status, as many as 3 times in a day. His surgical talents would be better aligned in hospitals with higher success in post-surgical patient recovery management.

Had diverticulitis- Dr. Shukri did colon resection surgery and was professional, courteous, reliable and a skilled surgeon. Feel great!
