Dr. Saadia Tariq, a Southern California native, earned her Doctor of Optometry and completed her residency at the Illinois College of Optometry before joining Looking Glass Optical in April 2026. She focuses on comprehensive eye exams centered on how a patient's vision problem is actually affecting their day-to-day life, taking time to explain her findings and coordinating specialist referrals when needed. Beyond the practice, she currently serves as Secretary/Treasurer on the Maryland Optometric Association's board and chairs its Finance & Budget Committee. She remains committed to continuing education on the latest research and clinical developments. She is also a runner — between patients, she often squeezes in a run on the Baltimore & Annapolis Trail right behind the office.
