Dr. Saadia Ashfaq Zaheer, MD

I have been taking my two children to this office for 2 years. We saw dr zaheer one time and now she hasn’t been in to see my children once after that. Everytime I have gone in I see a different nurse practitioner. They arnt very detailed in telling me what I could do for my child when they are unwell. I have to ask specific questions to get to the bottom of what I should be doing. We are rushed in and out each time and I wait for at least 30 minutes each visit sitting in the patient room. I was late for the first time my last visit and they told me they would not see my child. I saw at least 10 staff sitting at desks doing nothing they just wanted to leave for the day. I explained why I was late and that I’m never late. They said sorry nothing we can do. I asked how can you not see my sick child and they took us back. the door was slammed after my daughters visit was over. They did not come back in until I walked out of the room to ask what was going on. she then talked to me across… the room about what it was I wanted. So unprofessional. We do not feel cared for or taken care of by any of the staff or the doctor.

My daughter has been to Zaheer Pediatric Associates a number of times since birth. We have since left the practice. Dr. Zaheer, Dr. Sterling and the Nurse Practioner are all very kind and caring. However, I felt like I was always rushed in and rushed out. Her staff is terrible about returning phone calls or following up regarding test results. There were times that I would call in just to get an answer to a question and was told numerous times the doctor would call me back. No one called me back. I was told they would be open on a Saturday until noon. I called at 11am to get my daughter an appointment and they were gone for the day. My daughter was admitted to the hospital by a different doctor that day. We have switched and are much happier with our new doctor.

Dr. Zaheer is the best. We relocated this year and I am trying to find a good peds doc and so far I have not been as lucky as when I was first referred to Dr. Zaheer. She was always attentive, spoke to me and was very comforting at every appointment with my two children. A good pediatrician is worth their weight in gold!
