I couldn’t agree more with these negative reviews. This woman takes two seconds and makes inaccurate decisions, including her obvious opinions regarding active care or hospice care. She was not helpful in any way at all! If we get her in the future, I will ask to have her replaced!

Was my elderly parent's hospitalist (doctor) while admitted for multiple serious issues. Barely spent any time actually communicating with family despite someone being there nearly 80% of the time, and often barely knew what was charted/experienced by the patient before making major decisions without consideration for the circumstances. Worse, if any questions were asked, she reacted with destain and impatience rather than addressing legitimate concerns. She is/was dismissive of an amazing nursing staff that had much more contact and intimate knowledge of the patient, and completely rude to family charged with making major decisions. Instead of feeling like she was part of a "team" working to help -- I often felt like she viewed us as challenging her authority and power. She may be very intelligent and capable medically, but Dr. Sheik is sorely lacking in bedside manner. I hope she is proud that she repeatedly made a vulnerable, elderly, sick person cry multiple times.

One of my doctors at St E, very helpful and understanding

My grandmother has been hospitalized once a month for the past six months. She continues to be completely unlucky in getting this awful doctor. Her hospitalizations have been for not being able to breathe from CHF and afib. which are clearly heart conditions let me mention that the patient is 95 years old. every time she comes into this hospital she seems to go home 10 pounds heavier meaning they’re not getting the flu at all which is the point of being there. They have taken her off of all diuretics at one point when clearly that was a terrible call. Today I was told she was moved from the sixth floor to the fifth floor because the six floor is a heart floor in which patients wear monitors my grandmother did not have a monitor on she also has a virus . Now a 95-year-old with a fib and CHF should definitely take presence over a virus she should’ve stayed on the six floor and this lady should’ve ordered her a heart monitor clearly she needs more care than the fifth floor can provide.I… would not let her take care of my dog she is completely useless and I will pull her license !!!

Seems more interested in getting you out of hospital before Medicare bucket is depleated than patient welfare!
