Dr. Sabooh Sultan Mubbashar

DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED TO THIS DOCTOR! Especially if they're elderly. Dr. Mubbashar is an awful doctor who gets aggravated easily and never wants to listen to the family and/or patient. It's his way only, and his lack of compassion and due diligence in understanding the patient's medical history is astounding. It's absolutely grotesque the medical malpractice/elder abuse happening here under Dr. Mubbashar. I hope more people who have experienced the wrath of this doctor come forward and report him to the CT Dept of Public Health.

The first thing that Dr. Mubbashar said to me on my first visit was “I tell people what I think. You can either listen to me or you can tell me to go to h*** and walk out. Plenty of people have”. That should have been the same day that I continued looking for a new doctor. I did not have any serious issues. Just some minor troubles. He was completely disinterested in my past medical history and I really have no idea whether or not he even had my transcripts from my other doctors when I was seeing him. After maybe four to five visits, he told me that he wanted to prescribe a medication and instructed me to “do as much reasearch on (the medication) as you can” before my next appointment. I had done as he asked and found some very serious side effects that were associated with the medication. On my next visit, he asked me what I thought about being prescribed the medication. When I voiced my concerns about the considerable amount of serious side effects associated with what he wanted to… prescribe, he got extremely upset, told me very rudely that “he didn’t tell me to look up side effects” and began yelling at me at the top of his lungs in a tirade that went on for for about ten minutes. Yes, this man was YELLING at me. He did not like being questioned about his decision to prescribe the medication that he had chosen. He then instructed me to go and see another doctor “to be evaluated” and not to contact him until I had done so. This was the most shocking and inappropriate behavior I have ever encountered from a so called medical “professional”. That was the very last time I saw him. I now see a doctor that doesn’t have a problem with his temper.

A friend recommended him and I was so glad I listened. I agree with the other reviewers..He is a very competent and highly knowledgeable doc

He explained things and my mental illness to me like nobody had done ever before! so refreshing!! he is expensive but really worth it!

My 13 year old had seen two psychiatrist with no results prior to seeing Dr. Mubbashar. Thanks to him this is the best he has done in the last 6 months. He is a very smart doctor who knows his field.

Dr. Mubbashar has saved me the abyss of opiod addiction. Another Dr. totally misrepresented the "facts" about treatment to me. Dr Mubbashar treated me like a man, spoke in clear understandable terms and aided me in becoming and staying drug free. I'm now drug free for the first time in many years. Dr. Mubbashar was a Godsend and a man whose opion and expertise I value very highly. He enabled me to succeed!Highest recommendation
