Dr. Sabrina Mayo, OD

Sabrina Mayo, OD, is a highly skilled optometrist who provides superior eye care for adults and children in and around Exeter, New Hampshire. At Mayo Family Eye Care LLC, Dr. Mayo specializes in primary eye care and the management of chronic eye diseases. She is also passionate about educating individuals on the importance of eye health.After graduating summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in medical microbiology from the University of New Hampshire in Durham, Dr. Mayo earned her Doctor of Optometry from the New England College of Optometry in Boston, Massachusetts. She is the recipient of the Wallace F. Molinari Scholarship of Leadership and the New England College of Optometry Scholarship. Dr. Mayo is also an active member of the American Optometric Association and the New Hampshire Optometric Association.When not working with her patients, Dr. Mayo utilizes her private pilot license and enjoys flying her ’79 Grumman Tiger airplane. She also stays active in the Exeter and …surrounding communities and spends time with her husband James and their son and daughter. Our TeamBefore Mayo Family Eye Care, Dr. Karl Erdmann owned the practice at 191 High Street for 30 years, providing eye care to generations of families. He was known for his genuine and caring personality.In 2016, Dr. Erdmann retired to spend more time with his family and handed the practice off to Dr. Sabrina Mayo. Since the transition, the practice has been updated with state-of-the-art equipment and technology.Recently, a new wing was added to the building to include more exam rooms, diagnostic room, preliminary testing room, and larger optical. The building is now ADA accessible and has plenty of parking to accommodate for a growing practice.
