Dr Bala is excellent, very knowledgeable, kind and caring

My experience with Dr. Balasubramanyam was unfortunately very different from the positive reviews I read on the Methodist site. I was genuinely hopeful going into the appointment, as I’ve been dealing with ongoing health challenges and was looking for thoughtful guidance. Instead, I found Dr. Balasubramanyam to be dismissive and lacking in empathy. She referred to my prior testing as a “money grab” from “private practice,” questioned the legitimacy of my symptoms because I haven’t been hospitalized, and casually suggested I take four Claritins a day and see a dermatologist. I was especially disappointed given that the issues I’m dealing with are listed as a clinical interest on her profile. The visit felt bizarre and unproductive, and I left feeling more discouraged than helped.

I felt extremely well taken care of. Despite being in the med center and a busy practice I felt thoroughly listened to, my concerns addressed, and a robust diagnostic and treatment plan put in place

I've never met a allergy physician who wasn't skeptical, but she showed interest in my concerns since alot has happened since COVID.
