Dr. Sadia Rahman Chaudhury, PhD

My mental health is now SO much better, no thanks at ALL to Sadia. Spent two years working with her and received no long term help and no feedback on my progress despite multiple requests for this. I believe she just wanted to collect a paycheck at the end of the day for a number of reasons. She NEVER helped with identifying patterns and how I can change them, had no idea about key issues I struggled with that my subsequent excellent providers were able to note in a heartbeat, had useless non compassionate advice when she did finally speak up, terrible at teaching concepts of mindfulness/DBT and to top everything off when it came to transition of care to my intensive outpatient treatment she REFUSED to speak to my coordinators/new caregivers! My new amazing caregivers expressed they never had such a hard time contacting someone for transition of care. By the time I was done with her, I was seriously contemplating suicide. I think she requires an attitude change or please just switch… jobs. I thought her Ivy League degrees and willingness to take me on as a patient were promising but NOPE. Don’t be fooled. I feel badly leaving a review like this but I truly wouldn’t want others to waste their time, feel cheated and and invest their hope in someone who isn’t in a place where that can adequately care for their patients.

When I first started working with Dr. Chaudhury, I thought my life was hopeless. I had tried therapy many times before but it never worked. Dr. C gave me hope. She taught me skills that turned my life around. DBT is a game-changer. I'm now in a healthy relationship and a stable job and building new friendships. Dr. C never gave up hope and never allowed me to give up hope either.

Dr. Chaudhury helped me overcome crippling anxiety that kept me from living a full life. She was patient and compassionate and taught me strategies to help me overcome my fears. I would not be where I am today in my career without her.

A compasionate therapist who really listens to you. Dr. Chaudhury has excellent experience and training, and it shows. Our daughter immediately felt comfortable talking about her most personal issues and looks forward to her therapy sessions.
