Dr. Sadra Azizi-Ghannad, MD

I saw Dr Azizi for a medical condition. He was very thorough, kind, and compassionate. He is a great doctor and I would recommend him to anyone needing a GI specialist.

He must have recently moved to Iowa because I had scopes done with him. Although I’ve been sober for many years, I will always be an addict. The doctors demeanor usually changes after they read I’m a recovering addict. He was one of the few who treated me like a human being with feelings. He validated my concerns and was upfront and honest about what he thought was going on, but wanted to cross these off the list to make sure. Turns out I had 3 polyps and I’m in my mid 30s. Who knows what could have happened if I had waited till the recommended age of 50. He kept making sure I understood everything and kept asking if I had any questions which I’ve never been asked before so that meant a lot. It was nice being treated with like a normal person with respect, thank you Dr if you’re reading this!!!!!!
