I saw Dr. Sakr today and told him that I had problems with my brain functioning right when I took a higher dosage of Methotrexate than I was previously taking, before my other Dr. raised the dosage. He asked what I meant by having brain problems. I told him I was in a fog, and actually couldn't think straight. With a few more explicates. His response was that Methotrexate doesn't have any side affects that involve the brain. It doesn't cause any problems with the brain. Maybe not in the medical books it doesn't, but after I got home I researched it, and read a lot of blogs where a lot of people have the same exact problems as I do with Methotrexate, so my diagnostics on Methotrexate is that it does cause problems with a persons ability to think, to speak, to type, and know where you are sometimes. Maybe they need to do a lot more research on this drug, because we all can't be wrong about this, I know I am not a stupid person and when I speak under the influence of Methotrexate, I… say things that I'm not even thinking, or I cant bring my thoughts to the mouth, so I have to pause for quite a long time before I can get my brain to let loose of the information. Or I just plain scramble the words that I want to say. Other than this, I guess he is a good doctor, but I don't like it when a Dr. tells me I don't know what I am talking about. When in reality they don't know. Like another Dr. told me, I don't have RH so I don't know what your description of the pain you are have is caused by, I can only run texts!

Since Lori retired and Baxter Regional took over, the clinic's attentiveness to the patient has gone to pot. I visit, get told I will be taking these prescriptions, then never receive the medicine because the staff never follows through on sending in the prescriptions to the pharmacy. Even when the pharmacy tries to get a refill, the staff never return their calls and the refill never gets filled.

In my opinion, of which is critical, Dr. Sakr is the best of the best for me. He listens, he explains, he gives great tips, he shows me respect. Dr. Sakr IS the best of the best!

He is the best doctor I've ever had. Human, comprehensive, most polite, takes care of your feelings and extremely competent and knowledgeable.I so appreciate his care.

No one there answers the phone 8 out of 10 tries during normal business hours, and when you leave a message, no one calls back. When you do get a live person, you are still unable to get help because they just take a message which hoes into a black hole. It took me almost 2 months to get an appointment after 6 phone calls. When i complained to the receptionist that took my message initially, she said i hadn't waited long enough because she still had others ahead of me. This was after a 3 week wait for a callback and a plea for urgent help. Very very rude and disrespectful to patients in need!
