Dr. Sagar Mohan Phatak, MD

For five months in a row my appointments have been cancelled. I had surgery and my post op appointment a month later was also cancelled. I was told I would get a call to reschedule and here it is two weeks later still haven't received a call. I could have also called but that apt. Would be cancelled for some unknown reason so I didn't. Call. I have NEVER had a doctor's office cancel my appointments more than once. The doctor was great but the office staff is TERRIBLE!!

Doctor is great- administrative staff is a disaster

Dr Phatak is a brilliant, caring and professional with excellent bedside manner.

I met Dr. Phatak at the hospital after being admitted with a dime sized kidney stone stuck in my ureter. From there he’s been taking care of for the past 10 months. I trust him, I believe in him and I feel blessed he happened to be the on call doctor that day. Office staff is good, never a problem. Appointment wait times are reasonable.

I have been going to Dr. Phatak for over 5 years for my kidney issues, specifically stones. He has gone above and beyond many times for resolving any issues I have had. I am grateful for having a doctor like Dr. Phatak in Connecticut.

I've been battling with interstitial cystitis and kidney stones for almost a decade. I was diagnosed in my early 20's, which as you can imagine, is extremely painful and takes a toll on your social life. I spent a lot of money and time (not to mention going to several different specialists to get an accurate diagnosis). I kept asking for a CT scan, which no provider would order, except Dr. Phatak. He actually listened to my intuition, and BOOM! I had a diagnosis and began treatment. Overall, Dr. Phatak is a wonderful urologist with excellent bedside manner. He always takes an extra few minutes to establish good rapport with his patients. He listens to his patients and looks out for their best interest. It is difficult to find a healthcare provider who has BOTH brains and integrity. Great doctor!

I have IC, and sometimes have to deal with severe pain. The office staff very unprofessional, and have no compassion. I have had to wait a hour and a half for 5 minute appointment with nurse. No availability to sched the treatment I need, I am made to wait. Dr helpful, but not worth the hurdles you have to make to get an appointment.

I have found him an excellent Doctor, well-versed in his areas of treatment, extremely well-read and up to date in Urology. Strong interactive listener, an "out of the box" thinker when needed.

Stay way don't know what they are doing

waited 2 hrs to see dr. =maybe saw him 5 minutes at the most. he's nice, he's good, but the wait is so long and the office is chaotic. not worth it.
