When Doctor Ranka first stated at Citrus Cardiologist I knew that I was going to be comfortable with him. As I’ve said so many times he listens I’m an older person so sometimes I feel we’re not hurt but he listens.

Great initial meeting with Dr Ranka. Easy to understand and was comprehensive in his thoughts about my condition. I’m glad that I now have a cardiologist that knows my baseline. The staff from front desk to nurses were very welcoming and easy to talk with. Highly recommend this practice.

In one respect I was disappointed. I received a call last week asking if I would skip the appointment with Dr Ranka and wait to see my Cardiologist Dr Rothschild when he returns in September. Because I said I had issues to discus I said no. But Dr Ranka did not come . I wanted to meet him because I fear that my Doctor would retire soon. Friends had recommend Ed Ranka as a replacement should Dr Rothschild retire . On the positive side I saw Jackie who walked in well prepared and answered my questions confidently and quickly .She is very knowledgeable and I appreciated her . And Cleo did a great job prepping me for the visit and was very easy to talk with . And I found receptionist Ms Tempress to be helpful and delightful. Thanks. Ed Liberator

Dr. Ranka was just who I needed to diagnose several heart-related issues. And, given my age he is being conservative in the treatment he prescribed. I finally have a doctor who listened to me and he will be the cardiologist following me for the rest of my life. I can’t say enough good about him.

I was very impressed with Dr Ranka. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, and courteous. He impressed me with his policy of treating patients with actual signs and symptoms, and not simply scheduling unnecessary tests and procedures which are a waste of the patient’s time and money. I like him.
