Dr. Sahir Girish Shroff

I had to have most of my colon removed due to the possibility of colon cancer reoccurring. Dr. Shroff was very thorough in explaining why I needed to surgery and what he would be doing. Even drew it out on the white paper on the exam table. He took my case to the tumor board just to be certain. Had the surgery which was successful. Was seen very day including the weekends by Dr. Shroff or an associate. Received excellent medical care. Would highly recommend Dr. Shroff.

Dr. Schroff is a true professional in every sense of humor the word. Our daughter couldn't have had a better surgeon to teach the server case of Pancretitis with complications. This included a pseudocyst that became infected. We thank God for bringing Dr. Schroff into our lives when we needed him the mist. .

Dr. Shroff performed high risk gall bladder surgery on my husband recently. My husband had to have a stint put in the bile duct due to e-coli bacteria showing up in his blood stream and then the stint had to be taken out before the gall bladder surgery. When Dr. Shroff tried to do the tiny incisions he could not find the gall bladder, so a large incision had to be made and he found that my husbands bowels had wrapped around the gall bladder and he had to pull them back down into the stomach area. When he tried to remove the gall bladder it was dead and came out piece by piece like tissue paper. My husband was on a blood thinner and the risk of him bleeding out or clotting out was very high. Dr. Shroff was very kind in talking to my husband and our family before the surgery and afterwards. He was extremely kind to my daughter and I when he came to talk to us following the surgery. We could have easily lost my husband with all that was wrong, but I credit Dr. Shroff's… experience and kindness with his recovery. I would definitely highly recommend Dr. Shroff to anyone facing surgery. I have prayed for this doctor through the surgery and continue to thank God for the talent he gave this doctor.

Shroff is OK but his staff sucks. Especially Tammy. We call her Tammy the terrible. Very rude and without compasion

Dr. Shroff resected my liver and colon for Stage 4 colon cancer. From diagnosis to post-op, he has been a wonder! No one could ask for a more professional, more excellent and more efficient surgeon, not to mention that he is just a very nice man: a good soul. My only complaint is that one or two of his office staffers are abrupt, if not rude. So I am always on pins and needles as to whether or not I will be treated well or made to feel as if I am an inconvenience. The lack of compassion in a few (including one nurse) starkly contrasts with the helpfulness, courtesy and dedication of everyone else, including Dr. Shroff himself. But don't let the few bad apples turn you away - there is no better surgeon in the US!
