This man had to leave Cedars because of multiple complaints of sexual harassment were brought against him. I would stay away!

Cedars diagnosed the cause of my stroke as a pfo. Dr Kar came to my room, had incredible bedside manner, answered every question my neurologist bro had from literature about the studies correlating pfo to stroke. He closed my pfo in under 30 minutes. We talked thru the whole procedure. I was awake. Amazing team of professionals. The man is superb

Did not explain issues or interpret results. Took all of 5 minutes and told me what I already knew

He may be a good surgeon, but his "people" approach leaves much to be desired. He needs to be able to read people better. His demeanor was one of a comedian, flippant and I'd almost have to say absurd. He came off as too casual, indifferent and a bit condescending.

Dr. Kar,was my heart surgeon,and he was fabulous! During the surgery he was talking to me and joking and making me as best as I could. If I ever have to have heart surgery again(hope not) I would contact him in a minute!
