Worse Doctor’s appointment I ever experience. Still trying to remove the memories after a year. No Star would be more accurate.

My husband was a new patient so arrived arrived early with forms completed prior to 2:00 pm appointment. Finally seen at by assistant at 3:00. Eye pressure checked with handheld meter, dilation eye drops administered, returned to FULL waiting room and told he would see doctor in “15 minutes”. 35 minutes later taken to her office. 5 minutes later… “oops wrong office, follow me”. Taken to exam room and waited and waited. Dr. Choudhri shows up, spent less than 5 minutes examining eyes— “cataract surgery both eyes”. You have “dry macular degeneration”. Asked what all that meant. Her response was fast, and clarification to our questions were short and unhelpful plus she was writing notes instead of making eye contact while responding. Total time with Dr. Choudhri was 7 minutes out of 2 hours and 15 minutes at her office.

She is not a doctor, just running business, long waiting just getting mote patients. Never explain well, only 3 minutes each visit, forced for multiple useless visit. Never explained well. Ridiculous experience. Will not go again. When complain no appologies. Just forced you to buy over the counter useless particular brand eye drops from her own clinic. Will not recommend any one.

Office staff was all very nice. Dr. Choudhri was not friendly at all. She was very short and arrogant. Rushed through exam. After exam I was informed by staff that if I wanted by eyeglass prescription I would be charged an additional $70.00 just for the prescription and I would only be provided with same after the glaucoma test was done which would be at a future appointment. Obviously they do this in order to charge another office visit. When I scheduled my initial appointment it was for a “complete exam” but instead they force you to a second and possibly a third so that they can charge more to you and your insurance. I would not patronize this business.

A couple of weeks ago, I visited Dr. Saira A. Choudhri at her practice location “Eye Care Specialists of Florida”. I had floaters and flashes in my right eye and was experiencing pain in both eyes with discharge. It was one of the worst experience I had with doctors. Dr. Saira Choudhri was rude, impatient and had no bedside manners. Most importantly, she didn't address the issue that I had. She gave me hardly ten minutes, I mean she was in and out. Once, I wanted her to explain something, she said, "what did I just tell you." With extreme prejudice. After that, I didn't have the courage to ask any more questions. She didn't talk about my floaters and flashes and the reason behind them. She stated, "you are having cataract in both eyes. She didn't prescribe any medicine, only told me to buy over the counter stuff of a specific brand that included compression for dry eyes and vitamins. My eyes got worse the next day, then I called "Florida Eye Clinic," After hearing my symptoms,… they advised me to come immediately. I saw Dr. Parks; he performed a thorough exam and diagnosed PVD, posterior vitreous detachment. He explained my condition using an eye model and discussed the options I had. He prescribed drops which I am using and feeling better. He strongly advised to see him right away if symptoms worsen. I specifically asked dr. Parks if I was having cataract? He stated, "no, you do not have cataract." He took that extra tension away dr. Saira gave me (She told me that I was having cataract in my both eyes?) The purpose of writing this review is that I really feel bad for the patients who see her. There is no reason to suffer when we have better options. Thanks.

Within five minutes, Dr. Choudhri accurately diagnosed the reason for my son experiencing sudden, extreme sensitivity to bright light. After correctly diagnosing the problem, she prescribed a medication that cured it and she explained the condition in understandable terms. I couldn't ask for a better doctor for my son. The staff fit me into her busy schedule because we were from out of town and only in Florida for a short vacation.

I was extremely nervous when I had learned that I need cataract surgery I placed a call to Dr. Choudhri's office-I was able in a matter of 2 days secure an appointment..Ms. Angelika put me at Peace & Ease at my 1st appointment! from that moment to surgery was the Most pleasant experience EVER!.-Ms. Mariellis-Ms. Caymarie perfect ladies to keep me involved with all that I needed to complete-Ms. Lynn-Office manager kept everything in order for me to be knowledgeable in my journey of cataract surgery. Dr. Choudhri was very knowledgeable Kind-caring in this journey of surgery-eased any concerns I had. I have now completed my 2 cataract surgeries. I can not express enough how this journey was Easy and my Fears were erased just being in the presence of these ladies! I will Highly recommend Dr. Choudhri to everyone! I have had nothing but bad experiences with Dr Chouhry. First, they make you wait forever whenever you go. I have been in 4x times now and each time I leave feeling frustrated. The first time she wouldn't give me a glasses or contacts Rx, made me come back a 2nd time Came back a 2nd time, she gave me the glasses Rx but still wouldn't give me a contacts Rx. Came back a 3rd time for a contacts Rx, I had by now gotten glasses with the updated Rx but felt it was incorrect. My concerns about the Rx were dismissed. They asked if the glasses were ordered from them, when I said they were not they said they couldn't help then. They wouldn't check the glasses to see if they were the right Rx, they wouldn't test my vision with the glasses to see if it was right. She gave me the new contacts Rx, but switched me from dailies to 2 week contacts without telling me or asking if I wanted to switch. I didn't realize she changed this, so after the first two days on wearing the new contacts I threw… them out. That was a month's worth of contacts gone in two days due to the lack of information! After this visit I sent the glasses back to the place that made them so they could re-do the glasses. Received another pair, still felt the Rx was not correct for me, and I could tell this was the same Rx as before. I went back a 4th visit again to have the glasses Rx checked and to request daily contacts. This time they did check the glasses but said they were fine and if I can't see right in these then they can't help me. They never tested different lenses to see which I felt I could see best out of. She also said the type of contacts I need aren't available in dailies! I knew this wasn't true since I'd had them before and told her such, so she asked for what I had before and told her (same exact brand as the ones she'd given me before, just daily). She did give me a new contacts Rx but not until after she'd gone to see another patient making me wait another 20 mins after the appointment ended. This 4th visit I was in the office for 2 hours. I spent less than 5 minutes with the doctor and a few minutes with another staff member. This whole experience is ridiculous and makes me wonder why it was so bad when she has so many other great reviews. All I know is I won't be going back here again. I gave 2 stars not 1 b/c the office staff is friendly, office is clean, and scheduling an appt is easy.
