Dr. Saira H Khan, MD

I had a very disappointing experience with this provider. Despite it being over a year since my last labs—and having a previously low ferritin level—she declined to order repeat blood work so I could check my progress. This alone felt dismissive of my concerns. I also opened up about evening anxiety and heart-rate symptoms. She asked that I involve my psychiatrist, which I completely understood and did. My psychiatrist agreed with the plan and specifically asked that my primary care doctor write the prescription. I immediately reached back out and even shared proof of my psychiatrist’s approval. After several days with no response, I was eventually told that she would be leaving this entirely with my psychiatrist instead. No prescription, no lab order, and very little communication. Overall, it felt like my concerns were not taken seriously and that there was no willingness to help or collaborate, even when another provider was involved. I left feeling unheard and unsupported.… Unfortunately, this experience pushed me to seek care elsewhere.

Absloutely one of the worst "doctors" ever. She ignored my husband's concerns for over a year. Did not guide him or refer him to the right specialist. Kept telling him nothing was wrong and that "every lab possible was done". He kept getting sicker until he died. Turns out he had a blood disorder/cancer. Please, do not go to this doctor. Her license needs to be revoked.

Dr doesn't have patience to hear concerns from patient, neither has empathy and bedside manners. She laughed at my Mom twice as she was describing her symptoms, failing to comprehend and understand rather laughing and ignoring the concerns. She also showed lot of frustration in her tone and breathing when communicating with my mother who is old and takes time to communicate.

Absolutely unprofessional & rude

I had an appointment with Dr. Khan for the first time solely so I could get a refill on a respiratory prescription I needed to ease symptoms while I had a cold/the flu (The other Dr I wanted wasn't available, and she was available the next day--after my appointment I understood why). Dr Khan had me type out my medical information on the computer for her because she wasn't familiar/comfortable with typing on the keyboard. To me this is unprofessional, and likely violates some rules. She then--without looking at the data/vitals/information that was written down by a nurse right before I entered the office (height, weight, blood pressure, etc.)--proceeded to ask whether or not I was healthy and just nodded her head towards my stomach (inferring that I was unhealthy because of my stomach, instead of looking at the information right in front of her to make a more scientific determination). She then asked me "how long have you been chubby?" She literally said "chubby." I realize part… of a Dr's job is to voice any health concerns, however this had nothing to do with why I originally came into the office, and was also incredibly tactless.

I went in to see Dr. Khan due to a UTI. My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant. This "Dr" prescribed me a medication that I should not take when you are trying to conceive. For the first time in 20 years of having my mestral cycle I started early. I full week early and threw off everything, She was very unfriendly and not professional. She was with me for a total of maybe 3 min. So I got the bill in the mail for $342. I could not believe what I was seeing. First it's bad enough to have to pay for the worst service ever but then she tired to charge me a new patient charge. I bet that Dr. didn't even look at my file. I will never go back to her and I really hope know one else has to deal with her. Please do your research first.
