Dr. Saiyid R Wahid, MD

I originally went to this gentleman for a temporary issue. He took the time to actually LISTEN to me and the problem, and he asked questions to try and determine the cause rather than just treat the symptom. He went above and beyond, in my opinion. He was spot on in his diagnosis and his expertise showed. Don't let his dry sense of humor fool you--he's a caring physician! If I were not moving out of State, I would consider myself lucky to call him my Primary doctor.

I suffer fpm several different medical conditions. I have been going to Dr. Wahid for over 10 years, and would highly recommend him for anyone seeking a kind, knowledgeable Dr. He listens closely to my feelings and answers any questions I may have regarding my health and the medications prescribed. I feel very blessed to have Dr. Wahid for my Dr. and will continue to see him as long as the Lord allows.

The best doctor I've ever had! He is very professional, funny, extremely knowledgeable and very supportive. If this isn't your doctor, then you are missing out!

I have been a patient of Dr. Wahid for years. I have always been impressed with the care I have received. The office staff are always friendly and helpful. I highly recommend.

Jokes with patients and is caring.

I specifically asked for a food intolerance/allergen year because of a skin/auto immune disorder I have. This doctor decided to do what ever test he felt like doing, a STD and drug test. So when I came in for the results he told me my STD was negative but I tested positive for marijuana. I already know this!!! I needed to know my food intolerances, he then proceeded to tell me this text doesn’t exist. I feel discriminated because I’m a woman and he consistently made comments about my tattoos.

For the past 14 years I have seen Dr. Wahid. I have never been a rude person, so on today I went to get lab work done, and did not have my insurance card on me. The lab staff said don't fret, we can get it from your Dr. They asked me the location and called, the young lady said she would send it right over. After sitting at the lab for over 20 minutes on my Lunch break, I called over to the Dr. A young lady answered and I asked her about the fax. She tells me no one called there for anything about me and that it was the other location. I told her I knew in fact it was this location and I was right there with the nurse. In the background another lady says, "Oh I forgot let me get it". The 1st lady tells me its not in your chart. I asked her how they bill me if they don't have my info, and she rudely tells me that all they have to do is push a button. So I asked her isn't there a way she could get it, and she rudely says NO! Beyond upset now, from sittting here knowing that they never… even looked for it and the rudeness, i am upset now, and I argued with this young lady about their mishaps. I tell her that this makes no sense and I am beyond tired of putting up with this behavior, because I know it is the same young lady who was rude to me in office a couple of weeks earlier and tell her that I am comping to transfer away from this Dr's office. I get to the location where the Dr actually is, and he is waiting for me, and had the nerve to talk to me as if I am a rude child telling me I will Not Curse his staff. EXCUSE ME! Now i am very mad at this point but still kept my cool and got up to leave, because he is telling me that I will write a note apologizing to them and will never do it again, and did not want to hear what I had to say about the situation at all. I was just Wrong! I should have had my card, but is it acceptable for these young ladies to treat patients this way, and he should tell them to say that they don't give the info. They are not in trouble for having the lab and his patient waiting, and had the nerve to tell me that I should be thankful that he accepts patients on medicaid instead of having them running around looking for health care. THE NERVE!!!!!. I had to just leave out at that point. I work like most other American people, and I should be grateful for him and his rude staff. I have joked with every single one of his staff that I have ever met, I have joked with him every visit including the one I had yesterday, and after 14 years you should know someones character, and to believe someone who hurried and called him to save her butt because I said i was on my way, Unacceptable. So I am glad he showed me how he really feels and really is about Medicaid, and I am glad that he should me that your patient doesn't matter. I will never write a letter apologizing to a rude young lady who never needs to be able to step foot in a hospital. This young lady read my pressure after I got a high reading from another young lady, and told me it was low now that she had read it. I told her I have hypertension, she told me I didn't know what I was talking about.

Was in a hurry! Didn't seem to understand what was needed for patients care!

Some of the nurses have been rude before, but I love Wahid. He will personally call you after a visit to check up on you.

while it is true that years before waiting in the waiting room was long, now it is no more than 20 minutes. remember that Dr wahid sees a huge amount of patients everyday. glad it has improved. he knows what he's talking about and hat is a major plus
