In the last 4 years I have been hospitalized for 80 days plus with over 40 corrective procedures to keep me alive from a botched gallbladder surgery he performed on me... My liver was 50 lost and I still get infections that are life threatening....do not let this man touch you

For a moment I thought I'd written the other recommendation on this website. He was truly amazing. He'd also done a whipple on my husband and we could not have asked for a more caring person, something not necessarily usual in a surgeon, especially of his caliber. He did explain everything to us and I believe my husband is alive today because of him. I understand, though, that he is gone from CT and really wish that I could find out where he is. I would much prefer to be able to follow up with him even if it means getting on a plane.

Dr. Joseph did a Whipple procedure on my husband. He explained everything including benefits and risks, repeated explanations of anythint that we did not quite understand and seemed to really care about the person behind the patient, too.While hoping that the need for his expertise with Pancreatic Cancer surgeries will be few, he is someone in whom you can have the utmost confidence. If it can be done, he will do it. Dr. Joseph has the highest recommendation from us.
