There are certain people you meet where you know they were born to do exactly what they are doing, and Dr. Guntupalli was born to work with cancer patients. God blessed him with many gifts: he is uber-talented, confident, compassionate, relatable, and a tremendous leader of the genealogical oncology team at UC Health. I am so very thankful to have Dr. Guntupalli and his team as my care providers as I battled cancer. The team approach that they take at UC Health is like nothing I’ve ever experienced in the healthcare industry…..it was phenomenal! With Dr. Guntupalli as the lead doctor and surgeon, I’ve had armies of additional doctors, physician assistants, nurses, dieticians, pharmacists, and coordinators guiding me each and every step along the way. They have taken a complex, scary, and overwhelming disease and treatment, and made it simple, understandable, and hopeful. I was diagnosed with Stage IVB ovarian cancer, and from the moment I met Dr. Guntupalli I was filled with… hope that I could beat the disease. How he delivered the news to me, as well as the plan of attack, was clear, thoroughly reviewed, and actually provided me with a lot of hope and confidence. Each and every appointment I had with the UC Health team was on-time (many were early). From the medical tech to the nurses, to the PAs, to doctors, I was treated with respect, positivity, and compassion. I felt open to ask any question and take as much time as needed to make sure every question was answered. I feel like each and every individual on the team is a part of my extended family. Today I am cancer free thanks to God and the team at UC Health! Dr. Guntupalli and his entire team receive my highest recommendation!

Doctor G and his team have been amazing from the very start. I had gone to another cancer center that didn't work out and my lovely daughter found Dr G. Him and his team have been kind, understanding, caring, helpful and just amazing. We have been blessed. Thank you again and again for being the team taking care of me and my cancer.

Dr. Guntupalli saved me from advantaged stage ovarian cancer - I am most grateful and humbled. During a completely unrelated surgery, early stage ovarian cancer was discovered. Dr. Guntupalli was called in on a moment's notice to evaluate the situation and preform on-the-spot surgery to remove my ovaries and lymph nodes. He then followed up with a chemotherapy treatment plan that left me cancer free. He guided me through this, a bit scary, process using a caring manner, answering all of my questions, and providing answers to questions I didn't know that I needed to ask - a huge bonus. He now monitors my health on a regular basis. I could not recommend him or his services more highly. Also, his staff and team of learning physicians are wonderful. Thank you for extending my life for what will hopefully be decades.

Dr Guntupalli is a very capable surgeon. He performed a Total Laparoscopic Hysterectomy on me for Endometrial Cancer. He explained clearly what the surgery entailed. During surgery he did all of the necessary testing to ensure that the cancer hadn’t spread. He is also arranging future genetic testing to ensure proper care in the future. One week out of surgery there was very little external evidence that I had surgery at all and two weeks out I feel mostly healed and am able to hike easily. If I have future gynecological cancer issues, it’s wonderful to know that thorough, first rate care is available in Denver at UCH with Dr. Guntupalli.

Dr. Guntupalli and his team saved my life. They performed a complex c-section hysterectomy related to my placenta percreta to safely deliver my baby and deal with all of the bleeding and complications that can accompany this condition. They are simply the best in this part of the country. My family is eternally grateful.

I have a hard time putting into words how wonderful Dr. Guntupalli is!! Dr. Guntupalli is the most amazing doctor, who put me at ease at a very scary time in my life. I have never been so scared in my life, and my initial appointment with Dr. Guntupalli, I felt a huge weight lifted off my shoulders.
