Dr. Sakiliba Mathilde Mines, MD

Having Dr. Mines become our family doctor and introducing her to my family, has been one of THE worst decisions of our lives in terms of entrusting our lives and health into her hands. One loved one suffered irreparable damage to their health because of Dr. Mines failing to order the proper test to discover and make diagnoses. Yet Dr. Mines would call me up for several medical visits a year, after already seeing me at least once a year and do the same to my loved one, where she would get paid without insurance, a exorbitant fees. Were the visits necessary? Mind you, most primary care doctors only see you for one annual visit a year, if you are otherwise well. Instead of ordering the required tests medically accepted in the medical field, to make a correct diagnosis of my loved one, she performed scans on my loved one, that are not readily accepted in the non-holistic medical field and have been described as not based on "science", but based on fantasy, in order to purportedly… ascertain the general health status of my loved one. She performed such as scan just a few months before my loved one suffered from Dr. Mines' misdiagnosis and suffered irreparable bodily harm. In my opinion, Dr. Mines had her eyes on my loved one's pockets and not a diligent, attentive eye overseeing my loved one's health. As a result, we've suffered great loss. I felt like we were exploited by Dr. Mines' involvement in our lives in terms of doctor-patient relationships. I felt like my loved one was exploited into irreparable bodily harm.

A close relative of mine died from a treatable condition, after not receiving a proper referral from Dr. Mines to a specialist, although presenting to Dr. Mines with clinical symptom of a larger medical problem. Over several years, Dr. Mines gave my relative a clean bill of health, telling me and my relative that my relative was doing "great"; Dr. Mines told my relative that my relative was doing "great" several months before my relative died. Dr. Mines took my relative off at least one pharmaceutical medication for another medical condition, which if aggravated because of lack of medication, has been shown to worsen the larger medical condition from which my relative died from. Instead, Dr. Mines recommended over the course of several years, that my relative purchase supplements and vitamins from her office, which often totaled into the hundreds of dollars, per purchase. In my opinion, this could be a conflict of interest. See AMA Code of Medical Ethics Opinion 9.6.4

She missed a diagnosis evident from blood tests which she ordered over several years, which another doctor, a specialist, was able to a catch and diagnose. Because of her missed diagnosis, there was a delay in me being able to obtain specialist treatment for this condition. She also seems to think that she can treat with the same level of expertise certain conditions, that specialists are trained to treat and disapproved of me going to specialists rather than her and discouraged me from seeking specialist treatment regarding several conditions. This in my opinion, showed a lack of concern for my health, and instead a concern of her for making money off of me. She charged me to go over blood tests, when other doctors in other practices do not charge me to go over the blood tests or other diagnostic test that they take. In my opinion and experience, she is more focused on the business side of her holistic practice, which sacrifices her actual practice of medicine.

I've had a very thorough examination and a protocol set up that works for me.

Helped me in my quest to defeat a terrible brain tumor. She saved my life. I am forever grateful for her expertise and compassion.

I love Dr. Mines. She is absolutely thorough and treated me as if I were the only one that was important here - the kind of care that you wish all doctors would give.

Dr.Mines is a dedicated, caring and professional medical doctor who gets to the root of the problem. She teaches you how to take care of yourself and to understand lab reports, medical tests. Dr. Mines provides research reports and information to help you to understand your situation. I highly recommned her. The protocol she put me on is excellent and I have recommended 3-4 friends who are now her patients.
