Dr. Sal Longo was raised in Brooklyn, NY and attended St. John's University in Queens where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. In 1988 he was graduated from the NYU College of Dentistry located at the Kreiser Dental Center in Manhattan.
He spent several years working in Manhattan before relocating to Westchester, New York where he took over the New Rochelle practice of Dr. Martin Cohen. The practice had been in existence for over thirty years under Dr. Cohen when Dr. Longo joined him in 1996. They practiced together for over two years. Dr. Cohen enjoyed retirement until his recent passing. Dr. Longo lives in Westchester with his wife Carolyn and their two young sons. Besides working in his office Dr. Longo enjoys working part-time in a nursing home and the pediatric department of a hospital. His philosophy is to provide quality dental care in as comfortable an environment as possible.
