Really refreshing to meet with a specialist who listens to everything before trying to start a treatment plan. Information was explained and follow up was very good. Never have to wait very long for my appointment or in the exam room.

After months of being sick and a constant cough, I saw Dr. Mehio and he immediately diagnosed the problem and prescribed two medications, and I was feeling better and cough gone within a maximum of two weeks. He listens to and answers my questions. I had an extremely good experience with him and his nurse and all personnel and most definitely consider him as my pulmonologist.

This was the most unprofessional absolute worst experice I've ever had with a physician. 1st, he never showed up until 3 days after hospital admission, then walked in, during a bed change bath of my father, and proceeded to tell me he was brain damaged, and there was no need to further treat him.. 2nd, he then said, I am the doctor, I will demonstrate, he said, squeeze my hands, which he did, bilaterally, but he stated that is of no matter, the man that you knew is no longer there, he is brain damaged.. I said, based on? No unequal pupils, no drooping, no paralysis, no posturing.. He said, because I AM THE DOCTOR.. He did this in front of my dad.. Then, when I asked him to proceed with treatment, he rolled his eyes, and said I suppose you want me to give.him antibiotics too. I said yes please, and we have to protect his kidneys please, they are fragile, he said his kidneys are not my problem... I have never ever seen a physician like this in my life.. I'm an EMT, and have worked… medical for 30 years.. I still cannot believe it.. He was dismissed from our fathers care, we have been home from hospital now for 6 weeks, my dad returned him, lives alone, mental status is at 100%, physically he is about 95 % back at this time. I would not let this dr treat a stray dog.. And, I don't complain, but this was ridiculious..
