Every appointment I have feels rushed

Based on my experience, Sally Alwan demonstrates a lack of professionalism and patient-centered care. After waiting nearly 50 minutes alone in an exam room, she refused to take accountability for her significant tardiness and instead blamed me for choosing to leave the appointment out of respect my own time. Her subsequent mischaracterization of events in my clinical notes was particularly concerning, as it was inaccurate, unprofessional, and reflective of a troubling power imbalance. Rather than showing accountability or empathy, her documentation further dismissed the situation and my experience as a patient. After I reported these concerns to Patient Relations, additional clinical notes were entered that continued to inaccurately represent events. Given the timing and content of this documentation, it could reasonably be interpreted as retaliatory.
