Dr. Sally Holmes Engebretson, DO

I have been seeing Dr. Engebretson for 18 years now. She is patient, kind and goes the extra mile. She is an excellent listener, compassionate, and is your advocate. I have trusted her with my most intimate details of my life and I know she truly cares about me. She spends time with me even if she is running behind, makes me feel like I am her only patient of the day, (even though I know I am not!) She is patient, kind and has a personality that lights up a room. She knows everything about me and knows when she asks me how I am doing and I respond I'm okay when I am really not. She will ask questions to get to the bottom of my concerns. I think of her not only as my physician but my friend.

I have been seeing Dr. Engebretson for the past 15-18 years. I cannot say enough good things about her. One of the most amazing things that stick out about her is she is calm, happy to see you, and is willing to go over and beyond for you whether you are the first patient of the day or the last. She is personable, down to earth, her personality is such that you would want her as your friend. I cannot imagine not having her as my physician. She truly cares about you. She is ethical, hard working, very intelligent and kind. In my opinion, it is hard to find all these characteristics in a physician these days. I refer many people to her for the above reasons. I do not think I have ever seen her upset or unhappy. She is at Voyage HealthCare in Plymouth for anyone who would like to know where she went to from her previous clinic of many years. Top notch doctor. In my opinion "The BEST"

She is the best Dr.s I’ve ever had, she cares about my health and makes sure if it’s beyond what she can do she has me see specialist I have a lupus specialist and infectious disease specialist a name for our just specialist because of Dr. Ingebretson she has a great team taking care of me. There’s not one bad thing I can say about her I have been with this doctor for almost 10 years she knows me better than myself when I center a picture of my hand she knew it was shingles right away she called the pharmacy and had me get on an anabiotic right away, I have lupus with acute kidney disease she’s help me so much through this I do not want to see her go. I’m hoping she does not retire we are the same age and I don’t want to lose her as my doctor I don’t trust any other doctors just the ones that she has had me see like the specialist Dr. Angry Birds and I trust her with my life I would trust her with my kids life you have one Gem of a doctor I hope I never lose her as my doctor,… please don’t let her resign my name is Julie Iversen I need her!!!

I've been seeing her for years and she is thorough and caring. A cardiologist I used to work with even spoke highly of her when asked about the best internists around. He's didn't know that I saw her, but felt she was an excellent primary care provider for complex patients. I've worked in health care for over a decade so I know physicians and she is one of the best.

I went in with a complex history that she knew about ahead of time and told her I needed someone to manage my care. She told me she was going to ignore all of my conditions and said I needed an SSRI. What for? She doesn't know anything about Fibromyalgia, Immune deficiency, CFS or anything. Their office smelled moldy and is hard to time. I wouldn't waste your time.

After moving to the area from out of state, I was most pleased to find a caring and knowledgeable doctor. She listens and asks the right questions. I have recommended her to all my friends looking for a top notch physician.

Dr Engebretson is very caring and willing to go the extra mile. She makes you feel like you are her only patient. I had something that was rare and hard to diagnose. Other doctors told me nothing was wrong. She continued to research and send me for tests until she figured out what it was. I am very greatful.

Dr. Engebretson is real, and talks with you like a friend. You feel cared about.
