Dr. Sally Wilson Smith, MD

She’s a QUACK. This “doctor” never ran a single lab test on me. She blindly prescribes medication and when those medications do not work she blames you for your lack of progress. I spiraled when seeing her. I went and saw a real doctor who ran tests and turns out I had very minor biological issues that needed to be addressed. When they were addressed I began doing just fine. She prescribes and prescribes and prescribes. If you have a side effect from one medication she will just give you another on top to counteract. Sally came highly recommended by a therapist I was seeing at the time. This therapist came to me a year later and apologized for ever even referring me to her. The whole situation was very sad and Sally didn’t seem to care when I was at the pits of despair. Wanna know what she did? She left me. Yup, she created a mess and then left to where I had to find a specialist to remove me from the pile of unnecessary medications she put me on. All in all, she’s a lazy clinician. Go… see someone else in Charleston even if highly referred like I was. She’s outdated, lazy, and does not care.

She’s awful. She doesn’t care. She just pushes meds without testing

I am not the one to typically write reviews. But in this case, I feel as though it is warranted. This "clinician" is not thorough, and is more of a pill pusher than anything else. She prescribes a slew of unnecessary medications with no formal lab testing done. She will blindly prescribe medications and when you have a bad reaction, she will blame you for your lack of progress. After I stopped seeing her, I ended up getting genetic lab testing done and found that I had underlying biological issues that needed to be addressed. She never once ordered a lab test, and what she prescribed me counteracted with my genetics. Its really sad what ended up happening to me. I wish I never went to see her to begin with. very kind and caring Dr ,in a world where Doctors these days are more concerned w pleasing the DEA than their patients she stands out as a Dr who cares about her patients ,if you are fortunate enough to get an appointment with her ,dont miss it .Shes a the last of a dying breed of Doctors who put patients first
