Dr. Sally Wentross, MD

Dr. Wentross has always taken good care of me and followed up when needed. She always gives me the time I want with her and I have never felt rushed. Her diagnosis has always been spot on. I would recommend Dr. Wentross to any of my friends.

I have been with Dr Sally Wentross for past 15 years. Personal experience with her has been good. I have been with her for so long that I am now afraid to leave. I am fearful of having to get to know a new doctor that will understand my whole history. But over the past 15 years, the overall experience with the staff and team has become unpleasant. Dr Wentross is still accepting new patients, but it takes 4 months to get an appointment scheduled. Staff does not follow up after commits and then there is confusion explaining what is needed when forced to do follow up. And time with doctor is so minimal after waiting usually for 35 min for delayed appointment. I hate that I am at the point of having to find a new doctor.

Dr. Wentross is a very knowledgeable and experienced doctor. However, she cares least about patients and their problems. I would not recommend Dr. Wentross to anyone. I have had a miscarriage and she did not even bother to look at my ultrasound images herself. When the second ultrasound results came, her diagnosis was completely different from what she had in her examination report on the first ultrasound. I asked her why the results were different in her two examination reports, and her response was that she went by the technicians comments. Since different technicians who took ultrasounds each time, the observations and conclusions were largely different. She also acknowledged that she personally did not review teh ultrasound images both times. How caring can a doctor be if she did not review patient's ultrasound images while going through a miscarriage diagnosis? What if it had been ectopic? She did not even tell me that miscarriage can be painful, which I experienced… myself. I was having heavy bleeding on a Friday, had to rush in to Women's health care and she could not even see me that day due to her busy schedule. She did arrange another doctor to see me though, who after examining me just sent me home. None of these doctors or their nurses at Women's health care checked on me even while they sent me home with heavy bleeding on a Friday. I had had a natural and very painful miscarriage over the weekend. The doctors did not even advise me that I should go to ER if the pain worsens. This was my worst experience ever!

Have been through good and bad experiences with Sally and always left feeling very well cared for. She just delivered my second baby and I feel blessed to have had her guidance, care, and friendship. Wouldn't recommend anyone else! Her staff is always lovely to work with too.

I moved to the area halfway through my first pregnancy. I was bummed because I really like the Doctor I was seeing. Once I met Dr. Wentross I knew moving was a blessing in disguise. The ONLY downside to Dr. Wentross is that I only get to see her when I am pregnant and for my annual exam. I wish she was my general doctor too! She is so sweet and knowledgeable and you can ask her anything...and she knows the answer or gives you suggestions to try. I bet my bottom dollar you will like her too!

I had my first appointment with Dr. Wentross to diagnose post-menopausal symptoms that pointed to the possibility of endometial cancer. From our first consultation through a tedious biopsy session, I received expeditious and excellent treatment in a caring atmosphere that can belie such large healthcare organizations. Dr. Wentross and her support staff make great efforts to be welcoming, informative and highly professional. Thanks to this doctor's good treatment, in cooperation with my surgeon, I am cancer-free and grateful to be her patient.
