Dr. Salman N. Malik, MD

Have been seeing Malik since 2012 and he has not helped at all. Not going back. The office staff is rude, unorganized and can't seem to fullfil the most basic requests.

Dr. Malik has been treating my wife for 9 months and has been very professional and communicates all information and diagnosis, treatments and expectations very well.

I agree with an earlier comment. He acts as if he listens to you explain your ailments, with me it is my migraines that become intense and painful. When you are done he will just tell you what he wants you to do and not what is helpful. He expects you to do what he says and when you question him about medication that is helpful, he will "round about" tell you that you are a drug seeking person and you do not have the pain that you are explaining. Even after I had a craniotomy for a brain aneurysm. Extremely disappointed and also with staff. It will take more that 3-4 days to get a response when you are in pain and by that time your just upset and frustrated. I will not recommend his office but your choice is individual.

Dr. Malik is friendly but it is hard to get information out of him. He just makes decisions without really talking to you about it and expects you to just go along with it. Not all neuros are the same. Find one that specializes in what ails you and listens to you and converses with you about your problems.

Dr. Malik was very interested , professional and thorough. Staff courteous & helpful. He's the "Go To Man", if you are in need.

Never returns calls. Absolutely never!!! Still waiting for them to call. Finally someone actually answered the phone yesterday, told me they would call me right back. Guess what, still waiting, 3 6hrs later. Dr. Malik, is that the way you would want to be treated?

Very educated and is willing to show test results and do his best to tell you what problem maybe. His way or no way. Communication is limited. It is most definitely one way communicator. Hard to get into see him. He may be a wonderful doctor for someone else but not recommended for cluster headaches. He pushes pills that make you feel unnatural and refuses to change medications.

He Is absolutely rude and horrible, I switched neurologists after I was pregnant and he did not notify me that the medication I was taking for my condition could harm my child if I breastfed. I had to be told by my sons pediatrician the day I came home from the hospital after I had already been breastfeeding. Since I had not been told, I had to go home that night, the night that I should have been able to relax and spend time with my new bay, and run all over getting bottles, formula, etc. trying to find out what worked best for him since I didn't get to do any research- It took two months to get his feedings figured out. I told him at my next apt that I shout have been told and that I was only told by my sons doctor on the day we came home and his reply was "Well you got told didn't you" VERY VERY rude man he always spoke to me like I was stupid and when my husband was with me he would only speak to him, like he was discriminating me because I am a woman. DO NOT go to him unless you… have ANY other option.

I would recommend him. He was very caring and thorough. He took his time during our visits and did not rush. He also took his time reviewing the test results with me. The only negative I have to say is his staff dropped the ball on getting my test pre-approved and calling to give me a result. When I called to find out the result the doctor got on the phone himself to talk to me, which is rare anymore.
